This was one of my submissions for a contest. The concept behind this painting is a person is kind of like a seed, a source of mental energy / dreams. Under the right conditions those dreams can blossom into something significant.
The creature relaxing at the top is my concept of a pillow-angel, a guardian of sleep and dreams.
